Lytestream Electrical are proud to have recently completed works on a new Hobbycraft store at Silverlink Shopping Park, Wallsend.
This project was a new build installation with in house designs for distribution and fire alarm complete with metering, lighting, power, data, music / PA system and Wi-Fi access points.
This was a high specification finish, working in conjunction with the client to establish the stores needs and requirements. The main sales floor lighting was LED incorporating a dimming system to maximise efficiency controlled by movement sensors that reduced output to 40% when no movement was detected for a set period of time. Back of house operations was a combination of 600 x 600 LED panels and batten lighting on PIR sensors to reduce energy consumption. Data being an integral part of today’s market was installed to sales floor, tills, manager’s office, back operations and delivery desk. Externally there was illuminated front signage, rear security and delivery lighting.
This was an interesting challenge for Lytestream Electrical in respect that the finished product and concept was being redesigned and adjusted whilst works in progress. The client did not want any visible cabling, therefore all power and data was duct fed chased in the floor prior to the floor finishes and placement of tills and display Gondolas.
Again we are proud to say this project was successfully completed and delivered on time and within budget and we look forward to undertaking further projects with the client in the future.
